Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a data manager for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services contract, supporting the Air Force Division.

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

JOB STATUS: FT

TRAVEL: 0%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• 10 years' experience of which 3 years must be in the DoD; or 15 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's degree, of which 5 must be in the DoD.
• Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
• SharePoint experience required
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• USAF acquisition experience desired.
• Familiarity with Military Handbook 61A.
• DoD configuration management (CM) experience preferred.
• Software configuration management experience desirable.
• Configuration control board (CCB) experience desirable.
• Ability to enter and manipulate data in a database.
• Technical data management experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and maintain the organization’s tracking database.
• Provide configuration management of all relevant program artifacts.
• Archive acquisition documentation.
• Maintain configuration files including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting records.
• Work closely with program management, systems engineers, quality managers, draftsman and design/manufacturing engineers in an integrated product team environment.
• Develop and administer configuration management plans.
• Analyze data and prepare plans and briefings and support of software driven systems.
