An Account Manager at V2 is responsible for managing the overall activity of client programs and managing junior account teams to flawlessly execute core programs. Working with VPs, the Account Manager helps to craft strategic programs and provides ad hoc counsel to clients on a wide-range of topics.

The Account Manager is responsible for managing the monthly implementation of core programs by various account team members. Assisting junior staff with various program activities, the Account Manager provides hands-on mentorship that allows team members to excel, succeed and grow in all facets of communications (writing, media/analyst relations, client communication and management).

Account Managers also support the growth and development of V2 as an active participant in new business pitches. Account Managers are also members of the management team responsible for recruiting and mentoring the next generation of V2 staff, and representing the agency brand at various industry events.

Account Manager Responsibilities:

– Manage client contact

– Provide hands-on campaign strategy development and implementation

– Monitor, manage program/campaign performance

– Support teams by assisting with influencer relations (media and analyst), writing, and overall integrated program execution

– Contribute to overall agency strategy/direction

– Participate in new business

– Engage in agency networking initiatives

– Mentor and support professional development of junior colleagues

Account Manager Qualifications:

– Tech agency experience

– 6-10 years public relations experience

– Experience successfully managing teams and individuals

– Excellent networking, writing and presentation skills

– Ability to multitask, prioritize

– Strong work ethic

– Desire to be the best at what you do
