We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and handling day-to-day accounting tasks, along with supporting the team, with various tasks.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, as well as experience with accounting software and financial reporting. We are a high energy work environment and an extremely collaborative team. We need a dynamic and versatile team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must be flexible and scrappy, with the ability to support the entire team in various capacities. This role requires a ‘jack/jill of all trades’ mindset, where adaptability and the ability to change priorities and take on a diverse range of tasks to ensure team success is key! This role is required to be in the office 3-4 days/week and is a part-time position.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Prepare financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets
- Assist with tax preparation and audits
- Provide support to the entire Value Homes LLC team

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency with accounting software QuickBooks Online

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Salary:

- $20.00/HR

- After the first 90 days of employment, a performance review will be conducted and there’s an opportunity to receive a 10% pay increase pending the performance review

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
