Departmental Overview
The BCSP is a philanthropically funded center aiming to create and share knowledge with the world about the science of psychedelics and their place in society, with three key pillars: highly novel basic science research on the brain science of these compounds, development and publication of a robust and comprehensive curriculum for training guides to the psychedelic experience, and a multi-dimensional program of public education and outreach about what these compounds are - and are not, and about the history, business, politics, medicine, and many other facets of their existence.

Responsibilities
Provide organizational support for the training program's projects and events, such as weekend immersions, retreats, think tanks and other expert convenings, and core instructional team meetings. Design administrative knowledge systems for processing contracts, managing reservations, technology, transportation, catering, supplies, reimbursements, etc. Provide general administrative support for the development of the training program. Support the design of efficient and effective internal systems for meetings, schedules, communication processes, workflows Assist with recruitment and management of the training program's admissions processes. Provide organizational support, where necessary, in coordinating participants from the BCSP training program with the BCSP research team.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated success managing multifaceted, time-sensitive projects. Experience working in a university setting. Demonstrated success navigating a large bureaucracy. Strong writing skills. Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with a range of organizational management software. Demonstrated success working with a range of working styles and approaches.
Salary & Benefits
This is a 12-month, 50 - 100% negotiable time (20 - 40 hrs a week), contract appointment, eligible for UC benefits with the possibility of extension. This position is exempt which is paid monthly and annual salary is commensurate with experience.
