Are you a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Coordinator seeking to utilize your skills? Robert Half has an amazing opportunity for a self-starter looking to grow with a reputable organization handling a variety of Human Resources administrative tasks and support to the HR department and employees. This position is integral in enhancing the workplace culture through exceptional service and communication, detailed administrative support, and a proactive approach to recruitment and onboarding. This permanent HR Coordinator position is a terrific opportunity for growth and is based in Chicago. One day work from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide stellar service to all stakeholders, establishing and maintaining cooperative relationships.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and a culture of open information exchange.
  • Embrace and promote the organization’s mission and values through daily interactions and service delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries, managing walk-ins, phone calls, and emails with professionalism.
  • Efficiently manage HR documentation, including scanning, indexing, and HRIS data entry.
  • Process HR requests such as employment verifications, address changes, and other personnel-related documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date compliance with regulatory requirements and contribute to the HR department’s communications, including newsletters.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system, ensuring job postings are current and candidate information is accurately maintained.
  • Assist with job descriptions, posting processes, and interview coordination.
  • Conduct background checks and prepare new hire folders, ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience.
  • Support the organization of HR events, including scheduling, preparing materials, and coordinating logistics.
  • Assist with the delivery and coordination of training programs and monitor compliance training completion.
  • Facilitate the performance review process, ensuring timely completion of reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and influence others.
  • Organizational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in establishing effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations, with a commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.
