Quail Run Hospital is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. Quail Run features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Quail Run Behavioral Health.
Work Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm (on-call as needed)
Position Summary:
The IT Specialist is responsible for providing computer, information technology, telecommunications and data processing services for the hospital. The IT Specialist will be required to track and resolve IT issues as they arrive and keep clients and leadership informed as to the status of any IT issues or concerns. The IT Specialist will be responsible for effectively communicating any planned and unscheduled maintenance and or IT shutdowns to the department manager and leadership. The IT Specialist will request assistance from the corporate systems staff as needed.
Requirements:
Associate Degree in Computer Science or Computer Networking preferred
Two (2) years-experience in computer/software maintenance required
Knowledge of computer and business software applications programs in healthcare business environment preferred
May be required to work flexible hours and on-call hours
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card Required or ability to obtain within 30 days
