Apollo is Hiring a Technology Merchandiser Specialist Near Phoenix, AZ

Are you a tech-savvy merchandiser? Do you love devices and cutting-edge technology? BTR is collaborating with a leading device security brand, assisting their retail client in enhancing security measures for the products on their sales floor by upgrading to cutting-edge smart lock technology. As a security device merchandiser, you’ll help guard against retail theft by installing the latest smart lock technology. You’ll ensure our retail client’s products are safely stored on the shelves and the security locks are always installed and working properly. Join our team and help combat retail theft!
Responsibilities:
  • Duties may include but not limited to: Disassembling and assembling, even moving fixtures and shelving. This may include merchandise and Point of Purchase materials and displays in the retail environment. Security device assembly and removal will be required. 
  • Basic housekeeping and general cleaning are required.
  • Assist other team members with assigned tasks. 
  • Report issues that may arise during the project to the assigned project lead. 
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and positive working relationship with all store employees and customers. 
  • Log arrival time, billable time, all breaks, and departure time. 
  • Ensure safety and always minimize risk. Follow all company and customer safety practices.
  • Check emails regularly throughout the day and as required by the work schedule to ensure all communications sent to the employee are received and acted upon to ensure a successful job. Respond to all emails as required.
  • Review schedule weekly and immediately report any scheduling conflicts to field management personnel.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping within the company’s reporting systems daily for assigned team(s).
  • Review timecard in the company's online timekeeping system and report any discrepancies to the field management team by the end of that work week to allow for payroll to process.
  • Spend reasonable additional time beyond normal working hours as may be required to meet project demands.
  • Use available time during any workday wisely and productively to maximize work efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Must have a valid driver's license. Having reliable transportation available to get to work locations on time is essential.
  • The ability to follow instructions and diagrams, such as Plan-O-Grams, RIGs, Training videos, and Blueprints or layouts, is an essential component of work carried out by this person.
  • The ability to use hand tools and some power tools like a cordless drill is necessary. Must own basic hand tools and a cordless drill. 
  • Must have good written and communication skills. 
  • Must be able to work independently or as a member of a team. 
  • Must have basic computer and smart phone skills.

  • This position is Variable Full Time Hours. Projects can range from 0-40 hours per week based on volume. Overtime will be available on designated projects.
