Job Title: OPS Government Operations Consultant II

Your Specific Responsibilities:

The Health Care-Associated Infection (HAI) Project Coordinator maintains project tracking tools, creates the program’s quarterly newsletter, shares laboratory results with staff members, and provides a range of content creation and editing assistance, as well as any administrative tasks as assigned.

  • Provide the full range of administrative services in response to the HAI/AR program needs, including support for calendar, inbox, records management, and related duties as assigned.
  • Inform relevant staff about upcoming deadlines and deliverables to ensure completion of responsibilities.
  • Maintain project tracking tools.
  • Update resources and guidance documents on the team cloud and notify staff of any changes.
  • Collaborate with CHDs and key partners.
  • Share laboratory reports with corresponding HAI staff, and enter the data in state surveillance system.
  • Edit the grammar and style of documents in preparation for external distribution.
  • Develop HAI/AR quarterly newsletter identifying training and educational opportunities for scheduled webinars and events.
  • Develop and update directory of points of contact for CHDs, LTCFs, LTACHs, and ACHs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of standard administrative practices.
  • Understands methods of data collection.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows, utilizing the Internet.
  • Skill in preparing reports and utilizing spreadsheets.

Preferrable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health or related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience
