This position works as a Data and Finance Specialist within the Division of Community Development, Office of Long-Term Resiliency (OLTR) Rebuild Florida.

Review agreements in an efficient and effective manner to ensure all information is reported on and tracked correctly across systems.

• Research federal and state regulations and incorporate references.
• Manage and improve existing reporting systems and data collection processes, and coordinate information requirements with appropriate staff.
• Maintain working relationships with program staff and provide technical assistance on data collection and reporting processes as needed.
• Maintain and reconcile data across multiple databases.
• Analyze past and current financial performance data and prepare reports and projections based on analyses.
• Provide guidance on financial reporting to program staff, and executive leadership.
• Assist the department purchasing staff as needed in the preparation of formal and informal solicitations.
• Assist in the review contract and subrecipient agreement deliverables to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Assist team on special projects, as needed.

Qualifications:

As a condition of pre-employment eligibility, a Level 2 security background screening is required, which consists of fingerprinting and a check of local, state, and national law enforcement records.
