Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our legal team. As a Paralegal / Legal Assistant, you will provide essential support to our attorneys and contribute to the efficient operation of our law firm. Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with legal research, document preparation, and case management
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records in document management systems
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for cases
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files
- Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, and briefs
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and coordinating with witnesses
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and answering phone calls

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Paralegal / Legal Assistant or in a similar role is preferred

- Proficiency with Microsoft Word (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Strong research skills and ability to gather information from various sources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with document management systems and file organization
- Ability to draft legal documents under attorney supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $18.50 - $25.00 per hour
