Assistant needs to be bi-lingual and assist attorney, who is a sole practitioner, in the office operation.

The job description is a as follows:

• Finalize and perfect rough drafts of letters prepared by attorney.
• File pleadings with the court.
• Schedule hearings.
• Schedule depositions.
• Obtain intake information for new clients.
• Open up file for new client.
• Keep files organized.
• Follow up on all of the attorney's instructions.
• Answer phone and keep record of all calls.
• Docket all deadlines in the appointment book.
• Upon receipt of discovery, copy and or upload it in computer.
• Organize and keep billing current for all clients.
• Other miscellaneous office chores which will be fully explained by attorney.

Work hours: 9:30 a.m. through 5:30 p.m.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
