Technical Support Analyst

Our Technology Staffing team is currently looking to speak with Pittsburgh-based candidates who would be interested in opportunities with specifications similar to those described below:

Responsibilities

• Assist the Technical support team with inventory control, device configuration
• Set up new laptop and desktop computers according to required specifications for applicable business use
• Work with System Administrator to transfer all user data and settings to new laptops in preparation for deployment
• Install patches and upgrades, run hardware diagnostics, update inventory list as needed
• Provide help desk support, address questions/requests, and troubleshoot user issues in a timely manner
• Setup and configuration of mobile devices to connect to internal servers for email access and Wi-Fi capabilities
• Setup employee workspaces with necessary equipment and all required cabling
• Receive and assess returned equipment, noting any damage and determining whether tech should be redeployed or decommissioned
• Maintain detailed inventory of equipment and machines, keeping records of condition, assignment, and damage
• Assume other duties/projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Proficiency and familiarity with Windows-based systems and hardware
• Strong Active Directory experience
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting VPNs and Windows-based hardware and software
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on delivering superior customer service
• Ability to contribute as an individual and part of a team
