2 Years of experience in customer service
Scheduling/dispatching experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Apple Devices
Ability to type 50-70 WPM
Excellent communication skills, including customer service and conflict resolution
Ability to quickly master new technologies, including apps, databases, and other online platforms
Job Description:
The Electric Way is a local, family-owned company that values excellent customer service and relationship-building above all else. We are looking for someone to join our team as the front-line communicator with customers. It is important for the Administrative Assistant to be self-directed in prioritizing and executing tasks.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for all communication with customers, including phone calls, text messages, emails, and online platforms. In order to be successful, this person must be able to stay organized, toggle between communication methods seamlessly, problem solve effectively, and demonstrate outstanding communication skills with customers and team members.
Tasks include:
Answering phones
Communicating through various online platforms
Scheduling appointments through internal dispatch software
Data entry
Conflict resolution and solutions-focused communication with customers and team members
Ability to give full attention to customers with the goal of helping them and making them feel heard, while also considering the best interests of the company and its technicians
Coordinating with community partners, such as local utility and permitting organizations
Providing administrative support to technicians as needed
