The Weinberg Center for Balanced Living (WCBL), an innovative Older Adult Center funded by the New York City Department of the Aging (NYC Aging), is integrated into MCC. WCBL aims to address the varied needs, abilities, and interests of New Yorkers ages 60 . WCBL’s holistic wellness programs make it a premier destination for older New Yorkers to enhance their physical and nutritional health, artistic prowess, and cultural and social connections and to receive social services support that allow them to age in place with dignity. WCBL serves an older adult population whose primary languages include English, Chinese, Spanish, and Russian.
About the Role
Provide case assessment, information and referral, assistance, and case management to clients and caregivers who participate in the Weinberg Center for Balanced Living (WCBL), and/or reside at Podell Houses or Weinberg Apartments. This position requires on-site presence at the Manny Cantor Center four days per week and one day per week at the Weinberg Apartments. Services will be provided in both English and Cantonese/Mandarin.
