Job Description
ProMed Staffing Resources is seeking several case managers with at least one year of experience working with criminal justice involved population, as well as substance use and mental health issues for full-time positions at Temporary Housing Facilities in Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. Bilingual Spanish is preferred!
Reporting to a Case Management Supervisor, the Case Manager will be primarily responsible for:
- conducting psychosocial assessments with newly enrolled clients,
- co-developing treatment plans,
- assisting with obtaining and retrieving vital documents,
- assisting with enrollment in benefits and entitlements and
- preparing or gathering clients' documents needed for housing placement.
This is an in-person position from Monday-Friday (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) and paying a competitive hourly rate of $20 - $25 based on experience. Apply today to get started.
Job Requirements
- Full COVID vaccination including booster
- Experience providing case management or direct client service.
- Experience working with criminal justice involved population, as well as substance use and mental health issues.
- Strong written documentation and communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOC clearance.
- Experience utilizing EMR systems
