Texas Regional Bank is Hiring a Paralegal Near Dallas, TX
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- This position assists the Chief Legal Officer with a variety of duties, including preparation of legal documents (e.g., contracts, proxy materials and offering materials), as well as other paralegal duties such as limited research, proofreading of documents, preparing for Board meetings, etc. This position will also be responsible for preparing and coordinating filings with the Texas Department of Banking via Café and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas via EZ File. This position is a corporate/regulatory position and is not litigation focused.
- This position provides support to the Chief Legal Officer using a high degree of analytical, communication, and organizational skills, and attention to detail is very important for this position.
- Support and promote the Bank vision, mission and core values, organizational structure and policies and procedures.
- Represent the Bank in the communities served by the Bank.
- Highly focused, able to rapidly determine key priorities, clearly communicate the priorities and ensure resources are properly aligned.
- Provide a strong, compassionate, and visible leadership, which fosters positive attitudes and trust among employees, customers, and prospects.
- Comply with federal and state regulations as well as all established Bank policies and procedures.
- Ability to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate department.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PDFs, Imanage or similar document management systems, Café, and EZ File.
- 2 years of paralegal experience, or equivalent demonstrated though one or combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- Must have excellent analytical, observational, and decision-making skills, as well as excellent use of the software/technology listed above.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
- Individual should be able to work under high pressure situations and a stressful atmosphere and then should remain composed.
- Must be able to be physically present in the Bank to perform job duties as required by the Chief Legal Officer.
