Position: Project Manager

Pay: $50,000-$70,000 Salary

Shift: 1^st (Fulltime)

Location: Allendale, MI

We are a leading Crane Service provider in the Midwest, seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and facilitate projects from start to finish. Established in the 1980s, we are expanding our market share and offer competitive compensation for top talent.

Job Responsibilities:

• Organize upcoming projects by creating job folders.
• Order and track components.
• Coordinate with internal salespersons for site visits.
• Design crane systems within budget to match customer applications.
• Provide support for approval layout drawings from site visits.
• Assist draftsmen in creating detailed drawings.
• Support fabrication and installation teams.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Order equipment and trucking on a weekly basis.
• Maintain regular communication with customers on project schedules.
• Create manuals for managed projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of project management experience
• Professional customer interaction skills
• Knowledge of fabrication processes (structural steel experience is a plus)
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar software (Pro E, Solid Works, etc.)
• Ability to field measure and layout a project.
• Capability to conceive project concepts while in the field with the customer.
• Ensure all project steps are addressed in a timely manner.

Physical Ability Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Mobility throughout the facility to communicate with other departments.
• Use of a computer keyboard, monitor, and telephone for extended periods
