Job Title: Project Manager for The Thriving Black Church Initiative
Position Summary:
The Project Manager for the Thriving Black Church Initiative (TBCI) will ensure complete, thorough, and successful alignment of TBCI with the initiative’s strategic goals, constructing detailed work plans, coordinating teams, achieving milestones, and communicating results to internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Functions:

Internal Work Environment:
Must be capable of diplomatic partnership style communication with the assigned ministry effort team(s). Persuasion, discretion, and tact needed to educate and gain support for complex marketing and project efforts with individuals and/or groups both inside and outside the organization.
External Communication:
High degree of communication required in networking with other organizations, consultants, and vendors. Professionalism, assertiveness, tact, and persuasion required. Responsible for decisions that will affect how the public views ODBM and TBCI.
Leadership Responsibilities:
In partnership with the Partnerships & Church Engagement, Media, Marketing, Publishing and VOICES, ODB University, and Grants, depending on the type of project, manage the execution for all approved projects and other projects as assigned by the Director of Partnerships and Church Engagement and the Director of Marketing Project Management.
Stewardship of Resources:
Along with other team members associated with the Lilly Endowment funded project (TBCI); Partnerships & Church Engagement, Marketing, ODB Publishing and VOICES, ODB University, ODB Media, Discovery Series, Our Daily Bread, and Human Resources, responsible for the continued success of brands and related marketing efforts.
Miscellaneous:
Some domestic travel might be required.
