Construction Project Manager
We have a career opportunity for a Construction Project Manager that wants to be a valuable key member of our Construction Services group. In this client-interfacing position, you will manage assigned projects by executing project plans and overseeing the day-to-day operations.
Location
This position provides a flexible work schedule, with three days working from the Grand Rapids, MI office and two days remotely.
The Impact You Will Have

• Review and update the Construction Project Manager of adequacy of budget and schedule.
• Execute project work plans and revisions created in conjunction with Project Manager.
• Assist Construction Project Manager with the supervision and/or training of Construction Representatives and Inspectors.
• Research and develop unit costs for estimating purposes on extra work and monitor budget estimates, scope, and schedule.
• Establish survey requirements in conjunction with Surveyors.
• Report on progress of work, including technical issues, status of work remaining to be done and any noted deficiencies.
• Provide solutions to project development and construction obstacles.

What We Are Looking For

• Licensed PE with a BS in civil engineering OR Construction Management.
• 8 years of experience working directly with DOT, Municipal and private clients.
• Experienced working with DOT and will be well-versed in applicable codes and standards.
• Proficient in CADD software and Microsoft Office Products.
• Punctual, organized, and deadline-driven to provide quality work.
• Ability to work under time constraints dealing with numerous concurrent activities.
• Strength in professional networking, client contact, contractors, and coordination.
• Participation in professional organizations.
