Overview:
Pyper Tool & Engineering, Inc., is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Machine Build team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects from initiation to completion. This is a key role within our organization, requiring excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing design of projects; scope definition, assigning, scheduling, coaching, communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Concept design and estimating
- Meets financial objectives by making sure tools/ jobs are completed under budget and on time; preparing budget for each job; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Oversee the Domestic/International shipping parts and tooling of projects.
- Use of SolidWorks.
- Setting up and updating Timelines.
- Customer communications for all aspects of the project/program.
- Continue to oversee outsourcing, productivity, and Quality. Review cost and vendors.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Track work time and job time within Global Shop (GSS).
- Coordinate all activities of the die build process as needed to effectively complete the project/program.
- Quote Engineering changes and other non-tool build quotes.

- Travel as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
