Project Manager
Fusion Financial Group is a managerial accounting firm that is seeking to fill a full-time accounting position. You will work as part of a small collaborative team that is analytical and process oriented. We work with a wide variety of non-profit organizations and small businesses on accounting tasks in a fast paced work environment. At the end of the day our motivation is our client’s success.
Job Description:
Accounting Oversight
- Complete bank reconciliations in a timely manner
- Responsible for processing monthly sales tax
- Thorough month end review to ensure all daily tasks completed appropriately
- Complete payroll review for the necessary clients
- Annual 1099 and audit support
Financial reporting and analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Provide insights into financial performance, trends, and areas for improvement
- Assist clients in understanding their financial position and making informed decisions
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Ability to develop annual budgets in collaboration with clients
- Monitor budget performance and identify variances
Team Leadership and Development
- Supervise and mentor support staff including tracking internal time budgets
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment
- Encourage professional growth and skill development
- Provide necessary training and guidance
Client Relationship Management
- Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Participate in monthly/weekly client meetings
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships based on trust and reliability
People Skills:
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are a must
- Excellent communication and strong problem-solving skills
- Highly organized
- Ability to work and make decisions independently
- Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a high volume, deadline-oriented environment
Qualifications:
- Full-time in-person position
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience, including managerial responsibilities
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
