Sushi Oku is Hiring a General Manager Near New York, NY
Sushi Oku, an intimate 9-seat omakase restaurant in the Lower East Side is hiring a General Manager.
We are seeking a passionate, hospitality professional with NYC fine dining experience. Japanese cuisine / omakase experience is preferred but not required.
General Duties Include:- Lead the team during service to deliver outstanding guest experiences, enforce standards of service, and resolve service issues- Hire, schedule, train, and maintain strong staff- Run the door at the beginning of each seating- Manage Resy, including responding to guest chats and reaching out to confirm dietary restrictions- Handle VIP relationships and encourage repeat business- Monitor emails / voicemails / Yelp / Google Reviews and respond if needed- Uphold the restaurant's high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety.
