Office Manager Job description
Hands-on manager position to oversee busy truck repair shop. Responsible for the full cycle of payroll, accounting, billing customers and resolving discrepancies. Interact with internal and external customers to facilitate the billing and collecting of revenue.
Process payroll, pay taxes, administer benefits.
Oversee repair shop. Meet billing operational standards by contributing billing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying billing system improvements.
Provide customer service to internal and external customers including resolving billing issues.
Successful candidate will possess:
Excellent organizational skills, scheduling, planning and attention to detail.
5 years office management experience in transportation/logistics environment preferred.
Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook. QuickBooks experience preferred.
Accounting experience including month-end and year-end reporting helpful.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
