POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is in the Public Records Section, reporting to the Office of Open Government. This is a full-time position that requires independent and complex administrative and consultative work which may include data entry, processing, research, and filing a variety of documents. The position provides coordination of the administrative activities within the Public Records Section by assisting department personnel and the public on issues relating to public records requests.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

BASE SALARY:

Government Operations Consultant I
$40,000.00 – A high school diploma and two years of experience in planning, research and evaluation, or administrative work
Government Operations Consultant II
$45,000.00 – A bachelor’s degree
Government Operations Consultant III
$50,000.00 – A bachelor's degree and two years of experience in analysis, planning, research, evaluation, or administrative work.

BACKGROUND:
FDLE requires an extensive background process of all recommended applicants. The elements of a background include: financial credit check, criminal history of applicant and applicant’s immediate family or roommates, personal references, employment and education verifications (which includes official transcript(s)), drug screen and fingerprinting. This information will be utilized to make the final hiring decision.

Preference will be given to current FDLE members who have satisfactorily completed at least six months of the probationary period for their current position.
