POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is located in the Business Support Program (BSP), Director's Office. This is a full-time position that works with all BSP supervisors coordinating procurement activities, maintaining training records, reporting CALEA requirements and serving as the property coordinator. This position requires the ability to work in a collaborative work environment, perform research, collect data, and work independently. Additionally, this position requires excellent facilitation and customer service skills.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific duties include:
* Coordinating procurement activities for the BSP;
* Ensuring BSP members are compliant with all training requirements;
* Managing, gathering and reporting on BSP CALEA requirements;
* Coordinating with appropriate members within BSP to update the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) and BSP Emergency Procedures;
* Serving as the BSP Property Coordinator; and
* Tracking report requirements for the division and ensuring reports are completed by the due date.
To be considered as a potential candidate, you must meet the minimum qualifications(s) listed below. Degrees must be from an accredited college or university as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience in analysis, planning, research, evaluation, or administrative work; or
* A high school diploma or its equivalent and six years of experience in analysis, planning, research, evaluation, or administrative work; or
* Any combination of education or experience, as described above, for a total of six years.
* A master's degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one year of the required experience.
Note: 30 semester hours, or equivalent, of coursework from an accredited college or university is equivalent to one year of experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis;
* Knowledge of basic management principles and practices;
* Knowledge of the on-going programs and function of the Department;
* Skills to communicate orally and in writing;
* Ability to work cooperatively in a group;
* Ability to solve problems and make decisions independently;
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; and
* Ability to understand and apply rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to operational and management analysis activities.
BASE SALARY:
* $50,000.00
NOTES:
Starting salary will be at the minimum of the class pay range, unless otherwise dictated by FDLE's pay policy. The elements of this selection process may include a work sample and/or interview. Future vacancies may be filled from this position advertisement.
