JOB SUMMARY:

This is a Government Operations Consultant I in the General Tax Administration (GTA) Program, Business Technology Office, Return and Revenue Processing Team. The incumbent verifies file load emails, reviews and works incidents and inquiries, and participates in the analysis of General Tax Administration online filing systems by participating in requirements gathering, system testing, and other related duties as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
  • One year of experience administering taxes for the General Tax Administration Program.
  • One year experience navigating and interpreting account information using SUNTAX tax accounting software.

PREFERENCES:

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite; for example, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • The location for this job is in Tallahassee, FL.
  • This position is eligible for partial telework after initial training period.

SALARY: $38,175.60 - $6,742.58 annually.
