Description
JOB SUMMARY: Experienced in the commercial real estate industry, retail, or other similar field, the Vice President of Marketing will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy while managing various marketing verticals to ensure that SRS’ marketing drives additional sales in an efficient and effective way, while building the brand to assist with new business acquisition and talent recruitment.
REPORTS TO Chief Marketing Officer
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing Initiatives
· Manage the day-to-day functions of the marketing department to include performance management and hiring/firing.
· Provide strategic direction, guidance and leadership to oversee corporate and field level marketing initiatives. The role includes managing and coordinating marketing and creative initiatives.
· Implement, review and optimize marketing campaigns which may include advertising, websites, social media and content marketing campaigns, events, and PR for the company to support business development goals.
· Drive consistency and quality of messaging across all channels.
· Develop annual marketing budget and approve expenses.
· Define and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) while ensuring marketing programs are optimized to meet or exceed targeted benchmarks. Deliver recommendations to the business based on KPI results to continually improve performance.
· Maintain a system to track performance of each marketing source. Monitor the cost- effectiveness of marketing related expenditures.
· Continually chase and evaluate best-in-class tools that will reinforce SRS’ efforts and distinguish the organization from the competition.
· Develop a strategy to manage and consistently strengthen the corporate brand, collateral, graphic design, and creative assets.
Business Development Support
· Work closely with operations and sales teams to collaborate on sales and lead generation strategies.
· Provide strategic direction on time-sensitive pitch presentations and RFP responses. Set up and participate in practice pitches, attend new pitches, and regularly refine and evaluate the preparation process to ensure continual improvement.
· Gather customer, competition, and market intelligence to support new initiatives.
Team Management
· Develop, lead, and manage additional team members including Director of Communications, Creative Director, Director of Events, Corporate Field Support, and provide guidance and training to local field marketing teams.
· Lead standing corporate and field marketing meetings, calls, and training sessions.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate preferred with 10 years of marketing, communication, or equivalent

· Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, multi-task, and work well under pressure
· Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
· Strong branding and reputation management skills
· Strong understanding of creative process
· Exceptional problem solving and attention to detail
· Proficient in digital/social media
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Willingness to be assertive
· Ability to travel (approximately 30%) and work evening and weekend hours as part of responsibilities
