The Role

The Vice President of Accounting is responsible for overseeing account analyses and reconciliations, devising internal reports useful to the accounting department and other departments; maintaining SOX compliance; issuing internal statements and reports on a timely basis, and meeting all external reporting requirements and deadlines.

What will you be doing at Tricolor?

• Directs all aspects of accounting operations, oversees all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Able to develop strategies for tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property, and other applicable taxes.
• Manage the company´s financial results such as: costs, trends, profits, compliance, and budget to increase company grows.
• Provides strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.
• Develops and maintains necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting.
• Ensures that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

This is the right opportunity for you, if you…

• Have a Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPA Required.
• Experience working in a growing start up environment strongly.
• Have leading experience of 5 to 10 direct staff members and 5 to 10 indirect staff members.
• Technical skills measurable in CPA certification (preferred) and accounting tools (Oracle ERP, iDMS, Microsoft Office Suite, SQL)
