Assistant Executive Housekeeper

Job Description
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper in managing the housekeeping department of the hotel. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained, and that all housekeeping staff are properly trained and supervised.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing the housekeeping department
- Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff
- Ensure that all housekeeping staff follow hotel policies and procedures
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
- Assist in ordering and maintaining housekeeping supplies and equipment
- Assist in preparing work schedules for housekeeping staff
- Assist in conducting performance evaluations for housekeeping staff
- Assist in resolving guest complaints related to housekeeping
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of housekeeping activities and expenses
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
