We are looking for a Human Resources Manager that will be responsible for developing an employee-oriented organization culture that emphasizes continuous improvement, team-work, high performance and quality; ensuring organizational policies and procedures comply with HR related regulations and statutes.

Something Inked, LLC and Padrino Promotions offers comprehensive benefits program, which includes:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Implement HR programs and policies as needed by the organization.
  • Identify, evaluate, and resolve human relations, employee morale, work performance, and organizational productivity concerns.
  • Create and lead employee training and organizational development programs.
  • Conduct performance reviews with personnel managers and monitor employee attitudes, productivity, and performance outcomes.
  • Recruit and retain top quality employees for each department and conducting interviews; screen, evaluate and recommend applicants for interviews; compile job descriptions and post open positions. 
  • Create compensation plans and providing administration for employee welfares.
  • Lead management team in weekly Continuous Improvement Trainings (CIT) in order to develop the leadership team.
  • Raise proactive issues with managers, identify practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issues, and recommend appropriate action plans.
  • Provide pragmatic and consistent guidance and advice to managers on grievance, attendance, disciplinary, and performance issues.
  • Train and develop new managers on the policies and procedures of the organization in conjunction with development and learning team, provide coaching to managers on difficult and complex issues.
  • Review and revise HR policies in compliance with changing or new legislation.
  • Develop personnel policies, maintain and update policy manuals and employee handbooks as needed.
  • Utilize outside resources in order to monitor issues and concerns in employment law, communicate potential changes to senior management.
  • Ensure that every aspect of human resources incorporates the vision, values, and culture of the organization.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with universities, employment agencies and other recruitment resources.
  • Receive or review employee complaints; act and document accordingly to ensure a timely resolution to concerns or issues.
  • Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Work with the Safety Officer and insurance carrier to process work related injuries; monitor and follow-up on return to work status and/or institute FMLA when needed.
  • Assist the Chief Financial Officer in forecasting by providing budget recommendations and budget reporting to maintain fiscal responsibility.
  • Independently translate high-level goals into actionable plans. 
  • Create strategies, in collaboration with team members, that help monetize initiatives and mobilize team members to execute their respective responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful connections with team members, clients, and business partners.
  • Promotes and ensures all policies and procedures are adhered to according to brand standards, safety, housekeeping and OSHA regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or Human Resources and five years of human resource experience. 
  • Ability to develop HR programs and policies based on business requirements.
  • Ability to develop technical papers, policy papers and to present technical information to senior management.
  • Strong Project management, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Able to work alone on a broad variety of projects.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Ms Word and Excel.
  • Ability to operate and learn the HRIS (Paylocity) system.
  • Solid problem-solving and business acumen skills.
  • Ability to manage multitask work in a strong-paced environment.
  • Ability to mentor and supervise all employees.
  • Ability to delegate tasks.
  • Professional integrity with ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in the course of work.
