Continental Expedited Services is Hiring a HR Administrator Near Nashville, TN

Continental Expedited Services, Inc has an opening for an HR Administrator that would

  • Under general supervision, provide multiple human resources services in support of our organization.
  • Responsible for daily transactions, recruitment, benefits, training and other human resource functions.
  • Run analytical reports on employee satisfaction, performance, turnover rate, retention, etc.
  • Plan and execute actionable steps/recommendations to address deviation in metrics.
  • Manage and maintain office good order and conduct
  • Engage in conflict resolution and manage employee complaints.
  • Coordinate FMLA and workers compensation policies
  • Actively manage unemployment claims via JOBS4TN.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with federal and state laws, including reporting requirements.
  • Implement training program for employees on social training.
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepares and posts notices and advertisements, and collects and screens applications.
  • Provide information and advice to employees, supervisors and managers regarding employee relation issues
  • Create job postings, utilizing different sources (job fairs, LinkedIn, etc) and other tools to recruit for a variety of roles
  • Manage applicant tracking system
  • Manage new hires with on-boarding tasks and collecting, filing, organizing docs
  • Assist the COO with various assignments
  • Update organizational chart as needed
  • Quarterly review all current policies for accuracy, legality and thoroughness and adjust accordingly
  • Train, counsel and coach staff
  • Carrying out necessary administrative duties
  • Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary and termination procedures
  • Regularly check in on employee welfare/workplace/home happiness/satisfaction

Must be fluent with MS Office with EXTREME level of attention to detail

Must be flexible with occasional travel to Nashville and Clarksville office

Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4 year college or university OR 2 years of human resource experience is mandatory

Must possess the ability to maintain strict level of objectivity and confidentiality
