Accounts Payable Specialist:
Under direct supervision, the Accounts Payable Specialist :will be responsible for assisting with collection and processing of routine accounts payable transactions in a manner that demonstrates, “Everything is Important.” The primary duties include data entry, coding of invoices, researching and resolving discrepancies accurately and efficiently. The A/P Specialist will need to demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced office environment.
This position is on-site full-time in our HQ in Torrance, CA.

• Assist the Accounts Payable Supervisor with a weekly vendor pay cycle
• Invoice full processing cycle– including 3way matching & entry into QuickBooks/NetSuite
• Matches Purchasing Orders to invoices
• Coordinates with Purchasing Department and vendors for timely processing of payments
• Organization & filing of corporate documents
• Bank reconciliations of multiple entities
• Management of company purchasing and T&E via the Navan platform
• Support the Finance & Accounting team with various reporting and audit requirements
• Follows up with necessary departments for accurate processing
• Performs all other duties as assigned
• Communicates with procurement and vendors on AP-related issues and requests, researches and resolves issues with problem invoices, including recommending corrective action

Qualifications::
Required Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

One (1) plus years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment

Microsoft Excel knowledge

Preferred Technical Skills and/or Experience

• Manufacturing background experience
• NetSuite and Salesforce experience is preferred
• QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online)
• Navan (travel, expense & corporate card platform)
• Microsoft Office

• Strong analytical, project management, computer, communication, and writing skills (typing, spelling, grammar)
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse co-workers and personalities
• Ability to quickly learn, absorb, and apply existing knowledge to improve processes
• Team oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a high-performance, fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlines
