Compex Legal Services is looking to hire a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist. This key position reports to Accounts Payable Supervisor and will help with ensuring all payments are made to vendors and more!

This position will help us with:

• Opening incoming mail and sorting invoices received and entering invoices into the system with the correct amount and accounting entries. 
• Processing vendors’ bills correctly and in a timely manner; ensuring utilities are paid on time at each location. 
• Making and providing copies of any invoices when requested. 
• Sending vendors’ invoices to the authorized signatories for approval prior to payment. 
• Creating and maintaining vendors files and updating filing systems; filing all paid invoices in an organized fashion. 

What you should have:

• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or billing 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization.
• A can-do attitude
• Proven track record of coming up with out-of-the-box solutions
