Role overview
The mission of our Platform Operations & Delivery (POD) team is to build a world class marketplace where shifts from employers meet workers seeking opportunities. We measure success based on our fill rate of available shifts, worker quality and performance, and unit economics.
In this role you will own field operations for a series of markets within our marketplace, and wake up every day wanting to increase workers on our platform. You will be a role model for daily operational rigor and excellence, using existing and new creative tactics to acquire and activate more workers, particularly in hard-to-fill and recently launched markets.
What you'll do:
- Lead field operations for a series of markets in order to ensure 100% active worker goals within budget
- Recruit and deploy a team of hourly / consignment field operations specialists in specific markets on an as-needed basis
- Use a suite of tactics to increase local worker supply in specific markets (e.g. local events, local print / newspaper ads, local referral and ambassador programs, local partnerships)
- Communicate with workers directly using multiple channels including email, SMS, and phone
- Monitor daily and weekly metrics, proactively identify opportunities and issues, and design and execute initiatives to increase fill rate, improve quality or performance, or advance unit economics
- Use tools like Google Sheets, Tableau, and whatever else you will need to assess market performance and inform decisions
Who you are
