Klen Space, Inc. is Hiring a Field Operations Manager - Janitorial Near New York, NY

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Address and resolve all issues concerning field operations
  • Draft a project budgets for each client
  • Identify safety requirements, train and implement safety protocols
  • Identify all cleaning equipment required for jobs and train employees on equipment 
  • Maintain, repair and upkeep cleaning equipment
  • Manage supplies, inventory and equipment in company's storage areas
  • Recruit, train, evaluate and improve new project managers and field supervisors
  • Ensure roster levels and minimize turnover of scheduled field service representatives
  • Identify and assess all field issues and implement solutions or replacements.
  • Report progress back to management
  • Develop and implement policies for maximizing operational efficiency and profitability
  • Monitor key metrics and develop action plans for improving company profits
  • Develop and implement best practices and procedures to enhance business growth
  • Motivate and reward high performing employees by recommending salary increase, bonuses or promotions
  • Oversee the preparation, allocation and management of operations budget to ensure target achievement
  • Develop and introduce new proposals and technology to enhance field productivity
  • Collaborate with different projects to integrate new or existing services
  • Manage services provided by a company to ensure they meet client expectations and requirements
  • Build and maintain positive trust relationship with customers to minimize clientele attrition
  • Ensure company operations comply with all local and federal labor laws and legislations
  • Liaise with the HR team to determine the need for salary increment, allowances or bonuses
  • Create workshifts and assign duties to company staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Create and oversee the implementation of field tools and innovative software to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Ensure company operations are completed in a timely and effective and quality manner.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 5 years of business operations management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Performance management experience
  • Proficiency with standard business software, such as the Microsoft suite and ability to learn to use new programs
  • 5 years janitorial experience
  • government contracts

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: Based on experience

Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus Pay

Required travel:

  • 25% - 50% in local area (Required)
