Job Scope

ScottCare is looking for a motivated, creative, and innovative Marketing Communications Specialist to join our growing Sales and Marketing Team. The Marketing Communications Specialist will collaborate cross-functionally to provide marketing support to the department’s key initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborates cross-functionally with Sales and Product Development to fully understand product and communication needs.
• Conducts market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Uses research insights to tailor marketing and communication strategies for target audiences.
• Develops engaging and persuasive content for various channels, including digital platforms, print materials and social media while ensuring consistent and cohesive brand messaging.
• Creates and edits content for marketing collateral, press releases, newsletters and other communications materials.
• Drafts and proposes communication campaigns across all communication channels (Digital, social, print, media etc.)
• Creates and presents key initiative design ideas and recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Develop and execute internal communication strategies to keep internal stakeholders informed and engaged.
• Coordinates and collaborates with the Events Coordinator to ensure successful marketing and execution of trade shows and other sales and marketing events.
• Assists with other sales and marketing activities as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field. 2-3 years of proven experience as a Marketing Communications Specialist or similar role.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines and short turnaround times.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media trends.
• Proficient in content creation tools and platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of marketing principles and digital marketing.
• Highly creative, innovative, and strategic mindset.

Work Environment

The Marketing Communications Specialist is an in-office position. Some travel required.
