Job Scope

The Assembly Technician will participate in activities associated with the assembly and repair of ScottCare products. They may also provide technical and operational support to other team members as requested.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all production and service activities are performed and documented in accordance with ScottCare Quality Management System Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Assemble and repair components used with ScottCare products.
• Solder electronic components.
• Assist in inventory control activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Associates Degree in Electronics Technology preferred but not required, as well as prior experience in a medical device manufacturing environment.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of Windows XP and Windows 7, Microsoft Office, and Basic Networking preferred.
• Can work independently, as well as, in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced & exciting environment.
• Solid attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and work well with others.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret Company documents.

Work Environment

Work is performed indoors in a temperature controlled lab and employee is exposed to moderate noise.
