Rotex, a Hillenbrand company, is a leading manufacturer of dry material separation machines and replacement parts and we have been setting and shattering standards for industrial separation equipment since 1844.

We are seeking a self-motivated, hands-on Senior Human Resources Manager who is ready to partner across our site associates and across our global HR function and help us evolve our business strategies. This leader will own the HR function for the site, including employee relations, culture and engagement, legal compliance, performance management, succession planning, and leadership advising.

Our headquarters has roughly 250 employees and is located in Northside Cincinnati. This role will be hybrid/onsite 3-4 days per week. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate outside of the Cincinnati metro.

The Team:

This role will be part of the Hillenbrand Global HR function, with ownership of the headquarter plant of Rotex, a Hillenbrand Operating Company.

What You'll Do:

• Drive a high-performance culture through strategic organizational design solutions, performance metrics, and enhancement plans.
• Engage in business planning to ensure HR delivery aligns with business objectives, proactively identifying and addressing people-related gaps and needs.
• Convert HR strategy into programs, initiatives, and processes that align with the company's vision and goals, and take charge of their implementation.
• Oversee employee relations investigations and collaborate with managers on disciplinary and performance issues.
• Serve as a catalyst for change, managing people, delivering on objectives, fostering a culture rooted in business values, and establishing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Aid in succession planning, including the development of a diverse talent pipeline to meet the company's short and medium-term needs.
• Maintain positive employee relations by regularly interacting with staff on the production floor, building a trusting rapport with employees.
• Work cross-functionally with various support areas including: Plant Management, Finance, Legal, HR COEs, HR Shared Services, and more.
• Work closely with plant management to manage any labor relationships.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required (HR, Industrial Relations, Business, or related)
• 6 years of progressive HR experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree (HR, Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, or related)
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting, or similar environment
• Experience in a union environment
• HR Certification preferred (PHR, SHRM, etc.)
