Large NYC Event Space is seeking a Payroll Manager to support their team during an ERP System Integration for the next 12 months - job responsibilities include: Process weekly payrolls and benefits in a timely manner for various labor groups that are unionized using Kronos Timekeeping, ADP Payroll and manual / Excel labor reportingreconciliation (we broker labor to our customers). • Prepare and process labor/payroll related reports and records to outside organizations such as NYS Unemployment, labor unions for benefits, etc. • Process updates to employee master payroll file such as Garnishments, tax exemptions, bank account information and deductions for accurate payroll processing in a timely manner. • Maintain timely electronic imaging for data retention to comply with internal procedures and NYS / Federal law.• Ensure all weekly and monthly benefit payments are calculated and are submitted in a timely manner. • Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements and keep up to date on current legislation.• Support of internal and external audits request. • Direct the workload of the payroll team to meet deadlines.• Review payroll policies and procedures and amend when necessary.• Understand, Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate recording of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.• Collaborate with HR to resolve employee pay inquiries and payroll issues.• Perform other tasks and special projects as directed
