The director of finance must have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills in order to be a part of the management team. This may be the role for you if you are an experienced VP/Director of Finance looking for a challenging role at an established company.How you will make an impact- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts- Manage the hiring, training, and retention of finance staff- Perform financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions- Manage the preparation of all financial reports- Manage daily operations of the finance and accounting department- Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives- Establish short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures- Collaborate with department managers to develop five-year business plans- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance- Analyze and monitor forecasting and budgeting models- Take ownership of insurance and risk management- Analyze monthly operating performance against budget- Adhere to local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements- Direct, review, and prepare financial planning and budget management functionsThe salary range for this position is $130,000 to $165,000 discretionary bonus.Benefits:Medical/Dental/VisionLife and AD& DLong Term Disability403(b) Tax-Deferred Savings Plan18 days PTO8 paid holidays
