This Assistant Controller position consists of regulating the day-to-day of the accounting staff and providing updates to the Controller. Put your talents to the test by applying through Robert Half and joining a progressive company.How you will make an impact- Backfill for Controller when necessary- Ready different technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures- Developed preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end audits- Additional duties as assigned- Distinguish and evolve process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency- Aid with the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including budgeting and forecasting- Foster accountability and the meeting of deliverables- Sort out and construct Ad Hoc financial reports- Deliver regular account reconciliation to completion- Produce relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like key financial metrics, actual spend against budgets/outlook, and the monthly flash report- Sustain implementation and secure adherence to accounting policies and procedures- Promote to ensure a competent, trained staff through regular assessment, development, and goal setting- Support the accounting team during the closing process to confirm deadlines are met
