summary Looking for part-time Safety Training Coordinator/HR Resource role. The candidate will work closely with HR on a day-to-day basis. We are looking in the pay range of $30-35/hr. Here are the basic requirements: Part-time 20 hours/week as needed and/or assigned. M-TH (hours/days can be decided once role is accepted). This is an in person/in office role-no remote or virtual placement is available at this time. Understanding knowledge of Workers Compensation and Medical Related Federal Leave policies (FMLA, STD, LTD, etc.) and be able to file claims, walk employees through the process, talk to insurance agents on behalf of Allied, handle billing/invoicing with insurance. Ability to review and explain employee medical benefits and have been exposed to Wellness programs from a Nursing standpoint. Safety/ Coordinator role is comprised of learning the multiple vendors used for training and testing; will be responsible for keeping field analyst up to date on required training, background checks, D&A tests. Knowledge of DISA, Houston Area Safety Council ISTC, and others a plus, but not required as training will be provided. required-skills: required-experience: 5 plus years of experience
