Reporting to the National Director of Employee Relations, the Human Resources Manager will oversee several business units within the HR Department. The Human Resources Manager will act as the face of human resources providing direct support to their assigned lines of business, and leveraging the HR specialist team, as needed to deliver service and execute the organizations HR strategy. The HR Manager will support the National Director of Employee Relations with planning, directing, and coordinating human resource management initiatives for the organization to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as Compensation, FMLA/Accommodations, and the HR File Room to ensure regulatory compliance for the assigned employee population. Requires a solid understanding of business operations. In-state and out of state travel is required and at times is frequent depending on business need.
Essential Functions::
Preferred
Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of workstation and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
Work Environment::General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
