Provides general guidance and interpretation to associates and managers on company human resources policies, procedures and practices. Serves as primary point of contact for associates at assigned community(s).

Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field from a four-year college and a minimum of three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special RequirementsCertified Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) is preferred; or desire/willingness to acquire.
Management/Decision MakingApplies existing guidelines and procedures to make varied decisions within a department. Uses sound judgment and experience to solve moderately complex problems based on precedent, example, reasonableness or a combination of these.
Knowledge and SkillsPossesses extensive knowledge of a distinct skill or function and a thorough understanding of the organization and work environment. Has working knowledge of a functional discipline. Demonstrate knowledge of employment law (federal and state). Effective computer skills with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
