Relieve Care is a Minnesota licensed home care agency and residential care provider in Anoka County, Minnesota. Relieve Care, Inc is looking for a passionate and team-oriented Accounting Assistant professional, with outstanding attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Specific Duties and Tasks
· Processed bi-weekly payroll for 30 employees;
· Processed bi-weekly, quarterly & year end payroll taxes.
· Create or audit weekly/monthly clients billings;
· Process Client rates using the CADI RMS.
· Reconcile, code, and enter company credit cards into QuickBooks.
· Match daily deposits with billings and contact customers for any discrepancies or past due billings.
· Reconcile multiple bank accounts.
· Process full cycle accounts payable from receiving invoices to mailing out check.
· Assess late fee charges per the tenant’s lease agreement.
· Enter new leases into Access and update as needed.
· Make monthly collection calls on past due accounts.
· Assist the Staff Accountant with other accounting duties.
· Manage the petty cash fund.
· Issue checks for each business expenses or company’s group home overhead expenses;
· Reconciled 5-10 company credit cards; and contact card holder(s) with missing receipt(s).
Qualifications:
- Experience in a medical or home health care organization
- Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Quick-books
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate and work in a team
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to develop, organize, and coordinate paperwork flow
-Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of the company
-Self starter, strong initiative, and quick learner
- Detail oriented with basic computer skills
