RadNet is Hiring a Department Assistant Near Baltimore, MD

Job Summary:
The Department Assistant is responsible for supporting our Contact Center's general operation; clerical and administrative needs. The Department Assistant is responsible for obtaining necessary information for a complete scheduled exam, including but not limited to patient blood work result requests, outside image and report requests, or script clarification.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Display excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette
  • Exceptional written communication skills with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Organizes and maintains supply areas and supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and receiving orders
  • Coordinates scheduled hiring events and individual interviews, checking in applicants and directing them to their interviews
  • Supports management with building ticketing system to ensure building responds quickly to requests
  • Administers building and suite pass activation, deactivation and inventory control
  • Helps ensure new hires are prepared for training with introduction phone calls
  • Makes copies of training packets, prints or emails reports for managers coaching sessions
  • Assists managers with scheduling meetings with contact center agent
  • Controls office display monitors and whiteboard content
  • Greets visitors, answers incoming phone calls, takes messages and routes correspondence
  • Prepares information and research as requested
  • Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office
  • Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and in-person
  • Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and communication
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques
  • Provides information by answering questions and requests
  • Answer incoming and place outgoing calls in a courteous and professional manner-identifies self and company
  • Maintain self-control when dealing with difficult situations.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Maintain good rapport with contact center and imaging center staff
  • Communicate and interact with all departments effectively and professionally.
  • Pre-register, fax reports, scan documents, input clinical data as needed for appointment and request films as needed
  • Maintain professionalism with both internal and external customers
  • Respond to requests and questions in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

  • Must be able to type efficiently and accurately
  • Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Provides clear written and verbal communication
  • Detail-oriented
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient ability to detect errors
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be a team player

  • Promotes good public relations on the phone and in person
  • Adapts and is willing to learn new tasks, methods, and systems
  • Reports to work regularly as scheduled; consistently punctual with respect to working hours, meal and rest breaks, and maintains satisfactory personal attendance in accordance with RadNet guidelines
  • Consistently adheres to the time management policies and procedures
  • Completes job responsibilities in a quality and timely manner
