What We Seek:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Business Development Coordinator with our Operations team in our DC office. This role supports the various business development efforts across Raben. Candidates bring data management experience and creative problem solving to help drive our business development strategy. This position is located in our DC office and follows a hybrid schedule with two days per week in office. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracts and RFPs from initiation to completion, ensuring terms are met and deadlines are adhered to. 
  • Create and refine proposals that clearly articulate our value proposition and meet the needs of potential clients. 
  • Enter accurate and timely data in our CRM system to track and analyze business development activities. 
  • Collaborate with practice areas to identify opportunities for strategic growth and improvement.
  • Prepare financial forecasting models and projections based on active contracts and proposals. 
  • Source and write grant proposals on behalf of Raben and our clients. 

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. 
  • Exceptional writing skills with experience in drafting, copyediting, and proofreading proposals.
  • Prior experience in contract management, proposal writing, and database management. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience in grant writing is a plus.
  • Prior experience with a CRM system is a plus.

Salary Range and Benefits:

Our salary for this role is $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience and locality.
