This position is primarily responsible for managing the day to day accounts payable transactions for the company. The Accounts Payable Specialist will ensure the accurate and timely entry for payables, complete reports and reconciliations, communicate with vendors and maintain vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage full AP cycle from receipt of invoices, coding, entry, approval and payment initiation
• Process and code expense reports
• Review and reconcile vendor account statements
• Organize and maintain all records related to AP
• Initiate check, ACH and Wire payments, and enter into company system
• Reconcile bank statements
• Assist Accounting Manager with month end, 1099 compliance, reporting and filing
• Assist with Sales Tax tracking and reconciliation

Requirements

• Candidates must have at least 3 years experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting role with AP duties
• Experience in the use of financial accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English
• MS Dynamics NAV software a plus

Compensation

• $18-$22/hour based on experience
