The Account Payable professional will be responsible for paying company bills on time, and for making sure that our client is being billed the correct amounts. This individual will be responsible for receiving and logging invoices, working with managers to get approval to pay invoices when necessary, and using their knowledge of general accounting and budgeting to assist with bank reconsolidations, invoices, data entry, and handling expense reports. This is a full-time, direct hire position, and will be on-site at our Oklahoma City area location.

Responsibilities include:

• General ledger journal entries.
• Credit card and bank account reconciliation.
• Accounts payable invoice and data entry.
• Handling payments in an organized and timely manner.
• Development and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets.
• Ensuring imaging of invoice supporting documents is timely and accurately performed.
• Assisting in streamlining the accounts payable process.
• Expense report handling.
• Sales and use tax returns.
• Assisting with audit support as necessary.
• Working with account receivable clerks and others to resolve account issues when necessary.

• Associate or Bachelors's Degree in a related field Preferred
• Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable clerk
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic arithmetic including gross profit calculations
• Corrugated experience preferred
