Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist will provide support to the HR Team by focusing on processing and onboarding new hires, personnel files/record compliance, and basic employee relations triage and escalation. The incumbent will be required to exhibit a strong sense of urgency, ensuring that the company is in compliance with applicable employment law practices. Additionally, the role will engage in collaboration with Restaurant Management to ensure efficiency through the payroll database.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for practicing and maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
• Maintain personnel files, ensuring accuracy, for new hire paperwork, training, terminations, and other related personal information on employees.
• Efficiently scan all personnel documents into the database, preparing for upload into ADP.
• Ensure federally mandated posters are up-to-date by location.
• Update personnel records utilizing our payroll database.
• Responsible for record retention and compliance of files, I-9s and other documents as required
• Assist with routine personnel questions related to payroll, benefits, personnel policies, and employment opportunities.
• Responsible for processing New hires through E-Verify in applicable states.
• Communicate with individual locations to resolve missing information or issues.
• Assist with the preparation of weekly payroll.
• Responsible for assisting with recruiting efforts of restaurants nationwide.
• Assist the HR team as needed
• Handle other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a highly preferred skill for the position
• Two or more years of Human Resources experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, Outlook
• Knowledge of ADP
• Familiarity with the restaurant industry is preferred, but not required.

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Recruiting: 1 year (Preferred)
• ADP: 1 year (Preferred)
• Human resources: 2 years (Required)
• Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Required)
